Family Nature Programs

MAPLE SUGARING                                                                             Sunday, February 28, 10:00 a.m.

Discover the secret of how to harvest that “amber aristocrat of all sweets”, maple syrup, from your very own trees.  Learn the history and biology of sugaring as we tap a tree, collect the sap, boil the sap into syrup and then taste the fresh, hot maple syrup on snow.   Each family will take home a metal spile (sap spout) and directions for making homemade maple syrup.   $3.00 per person.

HELLO SPRING! - Nature Walk and Camp Fire with Ed Bieber  Saturday, March 20, 10 a.m.

Let’s celebrate the end of winter and the beginning of spring by exploring the changing landscape.   A sure antidote to the spring fever soon to be upon us

Please call us at 845-356-6477 and we will be happy to put you on our mailing list for information and advance notice about future family programs.
