MAPLE
SUGARING
Sunday, February 28, 10:00 a.m.
Discover
the secret of how to harvest that “amber aristocrat of all
sweets”, maple syrup, from your very own trees.
Learn the history and biology of sugaring as we tap a
tree, collect the sap, boil the sap into syrup and then
taste the fresh, hot maple syrup on snow. Each family will take home a metal spile (sap spout)
and directions for making homemade maple syrup.
$3.00 per person.
