Welcome to all of
our new and returning 2010 camp families! We hope you find
this section helpful. Our six week season begins June 28th and
ends August 6th. We will be closed on Monday, July 5,
2010.
We're
proud of receiving accreditation from the New York State
Section of the American Camping Association. ACA
visitors, every three years, look very carefully at
and evaluate each facet
of our camp operation: site and food service; transportation;
health and wellness; operational management; human resources;
program design and activities; aquatics;
adventure/challenge program; trip and travel.
Voluntarily submitting to such scrutiny helps us achieve The Nature Place Day Camp's Mission
Statement:
"To
give campers a safe summer, in which they can be themselves,
have fun, be challenged, connect with others and the earth,
develop new life skills, and be supported throughout."
