The Nature Place Day Camp is located on the grounds of the Green Meadow Waldorf School in Chestnut Ridge, Rockland County, New York. The school's beautiful interior spaces include classrooms, a gymnasium, woodworking, craft and cooking rooms. Two hundred magnificent acres of forests, fields, streams and gardens lend themselves superbly to outdoor exploration and discovery.   If you are going to use your GPS to find us, please put in 307 Hungry Hollow Road, Chestnut Ridge, NY 10977, this will bring you into the high school parking lot.   Park your car and follow the path to the Lower School Building.   All Open Houses are held in the Lower School Building.

Coming from Manhattan:

Take the Upper Level of the George Washington Bridge to the Palisades Parkway North. Exit at # 9W (New York State Thruway toward Albany) (do not take the exit for Route 9W, the second exit on the Palisades Parkway). Take the NYS Thruway to exit   # 14A (Garden State Parkway). Travel a short distance and to the first exit, Schoolhouse Road/Chestnut Ridge. Turn right at the bottom of the exit onto Schoolhouse Road. Follow it to the end where there is a traffic light. Turn left onto Chestnut Ridge Road/Route 45. Follow Chestnut Ridge Road for 4/10 mile. The Nature Place Day Camp is located on the grounds of the Green Meadow Waldorf School on the right.

Coming from New Jersey via The Garden State Parkway:

Take the Garden State Parkway north to the last exit, # 172 (Montvale, Grand Ave.) At the bottom of the exit turn left. Proceed to the traffic light and turn right onto Chestnut Ridge Road. Follow Chestnut Ridge Road into New York. The Nature Place Day Camp is less than 1 mile from the NY/NJ border on the left, located on the grounds of the Green Meadow Waldorf School.

Coming from the Palisades Parkway:

Exit the Palisades Parkway at exit # 9W (New York State Thruway toward Albany). Take the NYS Thruway to exit # 14A (Garden State Parkway).
